What about annual property taxes?

This annual charge is determined by the tax department of the regional municipality in which the property is located.

It is not customary for certain property tax departments in México to send out notices.

Therefore, taxpayers go to the tax department at the beginning of each year to inquire about the taxes and make payment. Paying later in the year will however incur some penalties.
