Tulum famous for its Mayan site is becoming a little village and has obtained the status of a city with their own maire today in 2008.

Real estate in Tulum stands for The absolutely most "sexy beaches" are to be found here. Drop dead gorgeous turquoise water with sand dunes on top, make this place one of the most desirable in the world.

Though be careful here, because most of the land is still ejido land (no title available yet) and you have to go through a serious investigation before doing any movement here. This means that the title is still not available and most of this land was granted through the government for agricultural purposes and can not be owned by foreigners.
